  • Responsible for sales & promotion of the Eco Trellis vineyard system, including the Klima cane stripper, mostly within the Northern & Central California areas and Oregon & Washington states, with other regions as required or instructed

To effectively carry out the requirements of this position you will be required to:

Key Tasks

  • Provide a special focus on the nominated market segments, customers or products as directed. Predominantly this is for the Eco Trellis system and Klima cane stripper. 
  • Assist with exceeding the Sales and Gross Profit targets established for the role. 
  • Provide product demonstration, training and guidance to others where required. 
  • Proactively seek new product & business opportunities with existing clients and potential new clients.
  • Continue to develop the product through engineering assistance and other improvements. 
  • Represent and promote at Trade shows and the like, as required.
  • Provide backup to other staff, as required, from time to time. 
  • Liaise with the General Manager where appropriate or when market or product opportunities are identified.
  • Comply with the Sales Management process as per Company guidelines, have a clear objective for each customer I prospect and appropriate call plan.
  • Be aware of your main Competitors activities and report as required in a timely manner, so that the Company can respond as appropriate.
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction whilst assisting in obtaining an acceptable financial return for the nominated products and services.
  • Understand the forecast and business plan. Implement approved programmes continually monitoring actual against forecast performance and adjust to market conditions as necessary. This will include both short and long term objectives.
  • Ensure you comply with the performance standards for the role and that company procedures and policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure that all issues relating to customer relationships are handled in a professional and expedient manner.
  • Minimise the commercial risk to the Company at all times.
  • Understand and comply with the Company's credit policy and assist with debtor collection if required.
  • Provide accurate, timely and meaningful reports, as requested both verbal and written. 
  • Advise your Manager of pending problems at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensure you comply with the Company Health and Safety program, relevant safety procedures and H&S laws applicable to your location. 
  • Ensure that there is an effective maintenance plan in place that will cover Company property that you may have the overall responsibility for.
  • The Company may, after consultation with you, amend your job description and the duties associated with that position but not so as to change substantially the nature or responsibilities of the position. In addition, you will be required to perform all other duties which are reasonably incidental to your position, as directed by the Company from time to time.
